Just Pray…
Luke 9:28-36
Bong Lozano
March 13, 2010

Jesus maintains His ultimate relationship with the Father. He is always in contact with God through prayers. Jesus spends more time in prayer in His ministry. He is in touch with the Father. Jesus mediates God with us. He Himself is the cross as He prays for us. The cross is a symbol of mediation of Jesus to God the Father. Jesus connects us vertically to the Father and horizontally to the world. Jesus loves us, so much that even His coming to us, He humbles Himself, though He is God, He wants us to be in touch always to the Father.
Jesus shows us the way to the Father and that is through prayer. Jesus Himself is the way; He brought us to the Father through Him in prayer. So we must pray to reach the Father through Jesus, the only way.
Prayer can be the start of a renewed life. Jesus taught us to pray and even Himself He prays. He went up to a mountain, He went to a deserted place, He went to a lonely place just to be in contact with the Father, in prayer.
Prayer is Jesus’ part of life, miracles do happen, unbelievers listened and believed, many where converted, healing of physical body and soul happen. Prayer is power. If you want power, pray at all times. Miracles do happen. Pray…pray...pray…
“Jesus brought His apostles Peter, James and John up on a hill to pray, with Him. While, He was praying His face changed His appearance and His clothes became dazzling white.” Luke. 9:28-29. Jesus wants His apostles to pray, Isn’t it very clear? He wants all of us to pray, to be always connected and in touch with the Father in heaven. There are many instances in the scriptures when Jesus prayed and brought His apostles with Him. Jesus is encouraging us to pray. As what the scripture says Jesus went up a hill to pray, in our life we need to “silence” our lives find a place where we can commune with God in prayer. Find time and a place to communicate and be in touched with the Father. Have a quality time with God in our prayer. As we pray, our life will be connected to God, changes will happen, it may not be an instant change. We may not notice it, but other people may notice the changes in our life. They will be noticing it in many ways, in our words, actions and spirituality. Jesus Himself transfigured as the apostles have noticed Him changing and dazzling in white. We will also be like Jesus if we have an intimate personal relationship with God, we will be change if we surrender to Him with all our heart mind, soul and strength. Allow the Holy Spirit to come to you and through Jesus precious and Holy blood cleansed you from all the sins you have done. As we continuously pray and develop that personal intimate relationship with God we are cleansed spiritually and we become a child of the Father. He will be a Father to us and we His children. What the Father wants for His children is to inherit His kingdom and to be with Him forever and ever and ever and ever….To be a Christian, a true Christian, follow Jesus and obey Him. Pray to be change. Pray to become a child of the Father. Like a child talking to the Father. Pray to have a connection to the Father. Pray and have a quality time with God. Pray at all times. Pray and you will see the difference. God wants to talk to you in prayer. Just pray never complain. Pray with love in love and for love. Just pray… God will make a difference in your life. Start praying… Just pray… Go now and pray!!! The heavenly Father is waiting now, He is so excited to see you and hear from you. Be excited to talk to the Father now. Go and pray… Just Pray!!!!
