“JESUS… Beyond Science”

Since elementary days, we have been taught of living and non - living things its structures and functions. Our teachers always gave us the definition of what science is.
In my personal experienced since elementary grades, I learned that science is a systematized body of information derived from scientific methods. It is also the knowledge, gained through careful observations of objects and events ( Capco and Yang, 1985, Biology) There are so many definitions what science is. I am not so much concerned about science and religion when I was in elementary. What I want is to eat play and watch my favorite show on the television. My parents together with my grand mother go to mass every Sunday except for my grandfather for he seldom attend masses most of his life. I usually go with them to the cathedral some kilometers away from our residence. When I was in high school in early, 1980’s my father enrolled me at Notre Dame of Cotabato Boys Department run and manage by the Marist brothers of the schools, an exclusive school for boys. There my spiritual life started to spark, because of our religious classes and activities in school. I started to have interest in my catholic faith. I really like how the Marist brothers disciplined us and they wanted us to be always with Jesus through Mary. I started to be active in religious activities and even joined religious club in school. I really love to be in the church every Sunday. I do not want to miss the 7:00 am mass because it is our students mass in Immaculate Conception Cathedral a few meters away from our school.
When I was in second year high school, I became one of the school contestants to the Regional Science Fair in Iligan City, because I won the Division level Science Investigatory Project Researcher. My interest in science subject was ignited. It was an exciting experience because I went to the place where I never been before in my entire life.. I joined the Science club in school. In my high school days I have been bothered by the question, “Can science explain the life, works, and miracles of Jesus?”
In college, I took up Bachelor of Science in Biology because it was my dream, to be a doctor. However, the very reason why I took up science course was that, may be I could find some answers to my question about religion and science.
I grew up with my grandmother and grandfather, in my mother side. My grandmother taught me Christian values. I learned how to pray and to be closer to Jesus and Mary. She was a prayerful, religious and downhearted woman. I saw Mary on her. I knew she is in heaven now. She was the reason how I came to know Jesus and Mary. She died on October 18, 1999.
My question was still unanswered even though I had my religious studies. Most of my subjects were life sciences. My teachers in college were all smart and brilliant enough to let us understand that they wanted to impart in us, especially that knowledge we need will bring us to a better future. I am not contented with my life because I have not yet found the answers to my questions in life.
One sunny morning after my class, I happened to be in a car going home with other students. Some one in the jeepney invited me to attend their bible study in the afternoon of that same day under the acacia tree in our school campus. I ask the students of her religion and she answered me, I am a Born again Christian. My eyebrow met when I heard the answer. I just nod my head; there at that moment, I ask my self, “What is in the bible that they are going to study?” So, when I arrived home I immediately went to my room and get a copy of our bible. I opened it and it was in Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Moreover, I ask my self, “What does the message mean?” In searching the answers to my questions, I was able to organize a group of young students at my age for a bible sharing and study on the grassy ground of our school campus ministry. We were about three that time. We first met for bible sharing and study then the next meeting five and we were increasing in number. On July 12, 1986, we decided to give a name to our group, the Catholic Holy Scripture Group. Rev.Fr. Laurence Duffy, a Marist Father assigned in our locality became our first spiritual adviser on July 14, 1986. The group became an inspiration to me because when the group started I never stopped studying the contents and words written in the Holy Scriptures. My relationship with Jesus became deeper and deeper and I love to be with Him always. Almost twice a week we have our bible sharing and study. We have experience changes in our lives and inspired daily. It is as if we want to be with one another always. The word in the Holy Scripture is active in us. It became devotion in my daily life, to read and reflect on the scriptures. There I realized that slowly the questions in my mind were answered. The words of God in the Holy Scriptures became my daily bread. My life started to become more meaningful with the Lord and with my brothers and sisters in the group who gives me strength and inspiration. Our members started to grow in number. Grow in faith and love for Jesus and His words in the Holy Scriptures. We started our mission in the different schools in Cotabato City and North Cotabato area by going to schools and inspire them to read the bible and study it in accordance to the Catholic Church’s teaching.
As I continued to do our mission and read the Holy Scripture, I came across the life and works of Jesus in the Bible; there I remembered the question in my mind long time ago. “Can science explain the life work and miracles of Jesus?” “Is Jesus beyond Science?”
Can science explain in a systematized way derived from scientific methods, the life and works of Jesus? I would like to begin with Jesus walks on water in John 6:16-21, Mt.14:22-23 and Mk. 6:45-52 that should be explained by the science of Physics, the law of buoyancy. The science of Physics should explain the Transfiguration of Jesus as the law of light energy written on Mark 9:2-3 and Mt. 28:2-4, the law of gravity in Lk. 24:50-53, Mk.16_19-20, Acts 19:11. Jesus went to a wedding in Cana; He turned the water into wine, Jn.2:11 in which Mary His Mother was the eyewitness, the science of chemistry, changes in matter should clear this. It includes the transubstantiation of wine and bread to body and blood of Jesus in Jn.6:54-56, Mk.14:22-25, Mt.26:26-30, Lk.22:14-20 and 1Cor.11:23-25. These were proven by the miracles of the body and blood in Lanciano, Italy tested and proven by scientist. It happened in 700 A.D and in 1970-1971; Dr. Odoardo Linoli a well knowned scientist, Pathologist studied the said flesh. It was real flesh and blood of a human being. It was from the myocardium of the heart, the blood type is AB, and it remains a phenomenon according to science. The healing miracles of Jesus as follows Mk. 1:40-45, Lk.5:12-16, Mt.1:1-4 when Jesus heals many skin diseases. Jesus heals a Roman officers servant, Mt.8:5-13, Lk.7:1-10, the healing of many people in Mt.8:14-17, Mk.1:29-34 and Lk.4:38-41, the two women possessed and healed, Mt.8:28-34, Mk.5:1-20, Lk.8:26-39. The paralyzed man healed, Mt. 9:1-8, Mk.2:1-12, Lk.5:17-26.
The official’s daughter and the woman who touched Jesus cloak in Mt.9:18-26, Mk. 5:21-43, Lk. 8:40-56. Jesus healed two blind men, Mt.9:27-31, Jesus healed a man in Mk.1:40-44, Mt.8:1-4 and Lk. 5:12-16, when Jesus healed a man with a paralyzed hand in Mk.3:1-6, Mt.12:9-14 and Lk. 6:6-11.
Jesus healed a man with evil spirits written in Mk.5:1-20, Mt.8:28-34 and Lk.8:26-39. A woman with a child possessed by the evil spirit in the gospels of Mk.7:24-30 and Mt.15:21-28. Jesus healed a deaf mute in Mk.7:31-37, A blind man healed by Jesus at Bethsaida Mk.8:22-26, Jesus healed a boy with an evil spirit in Mk.9:14-29, when Jesus healed the blind Bartimaeus in Mk.10:46-52.
A man with an evil spirit Lk.4:31-35 and Mk.1:21-28. Jesus taught and healed in Lk.6:17-19 and Mt.4:23-25. Jesus in Lk.7 raised the widow’s son: 11-17. Jesus healed a sick man, Lk.14:1-6, ten men healed, Lk.17:11-19. Blind beggar was healed in Lk.18:35-43. Jesus healed an official’s son in Jn.4:43-54, Jesus healed at the pool Jn.5:1-18. A man born blind was healed Jn.9:1-12.
Let the doctors and other specialists in our world today, to explain how all these things happened. In Mathematics the multiplication of the bread and fish written in Lk.9:10-17, Mt.14:13-21, Mk.6:30-44 and Jn. 6:1-14. In the explanation of other scholars today, that it happened because of the people who shared their food to one another after Jesus prayed to the Father. The question
Was “where in the bible written that people shared fish and bread to everybody?” Here Jesus said to these “people of wisdom” “Where is your faith?” Mark 4:40 and Matthew 14:31. Why don’t we have faith, that Jesus is beyond our human understanding, Jesus, is God. He is beyond science.
How could the science of Gynecology and Embryology explain Luke 1:29-38, when Mary conceived Jesus in Her womb without any man touching her, the Immaculate Conception? When Elizabeth the cousin of Mary the mother of Jesus get pregnant in an old age in Lk.1:11-20.
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the three wise men cannot find the place where Jesus was born but because of the star, they found Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem written in Mt. 2:1-2, 9-10. Let the science of astrology explain it.
The sky opened during the baptism of Jesus in the river Jordan in Lk. 3:21-22, 13-17 and Mk.1:9-11 the science of Meteorology have to explain it. Where and how the cloud did appear and covered Jesus, Elijah and Moses in the transfiguration, Mk.9:7-8. Moreover, how Jesus calms the storm down in Mk.4; 35-39, Mt.8:23-27 and Lk.8:22-25 these events should be explained by the science of Meteorology.
Jesus and His apostles gone into fishing after the resurrection, the apostles catch so many fish when Jesus ordered them to throw the net on the right side, Jn.21:3-6. An even animal like fish is under Jesus’ power. When the dove came down from heaven in the gospels of Jn.1:32, Lk.3:21-22, Mt.3:13-17 and Mk.9:9-11 let the science of Zoology explain this as experts in studying animals.
In Jn.20:24-29, Mk.16:1-7, Mt.28:1-8, Lk.24:1-12, Jn.20:1-10 and Mk.15:16-17, the people of Israel, the Jews, the Gentiles, believers and non believers alike knew that Jesus was crucified, He died, He was buried but here in this account He was alive.
In anatomy and Physiology, how a dead body could be raised up from the grave. Anatomy and Physiology may have an explanation on this.
On His way back to the city early morning, Jesus was hungry. He saw a fig tree by the side of the road and went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. So he said to the tree “you will never bear fruit” at once the fig tree dried up. Matthew 21:18-22, Mk.11:20-24, how could this happened, let the science of Botany explained for they were the science that studies plants.
The dead man Lazarus for four days was raised to life by the words of Jesus written in Jn.11:38-44. How the son of the carpenter and a simple housekeeper could, could have the words that can raise the dead to life. The science of Physiology and Medicine should have an explanation on this account for they are experts on life and its function.
Seismology is the branch of science that studies earthquakes or artificially induced earth tremors (Grolier Webster’s Dictionary) should give us the explanation on the death of Jesus and how come the Jewish temple was damaged so greatly that the altar was tear off, written in Mt.27:51-54 and Mt.28:1-2.
Jesus also had predicted and knows the future. All these things happened. The believers and non-believers alike have witnessed all these events. The Gospels have these written, Jesus said Peter will deny Him and it happened, Mt.26:31-35, Mk.14:27-31, Jn.13:36-38, Jesus told His apostles of His death, Jn. 12:27-36, Mt.16:21-23, Mk.8:31, 9:1, Lk.9:22-27, Mt.20:17-19, Mk.10:32-34, Lk.18:31-34. If we are alive and hear Jesus talking about His death, we will be amazed and have that feeling of awe, and say, “how could this man know the future even His death?” Even the persecutions of His followers. Mt.10:16-23, Mk.13:9-13, Lk.21:12-17, Mt.24:3-14, Lk.21:7-19. He also speaks about the future destruction, Mt.24:1-25, Mk.13:1-27, Lk.21:5-28. Moreover, His coming as king and judge in Mt.24:29-31, Mk.13:24-27, Lk.21:25-28 at the end of times. Here the science of Metaphysics is being challenge because this is a branch of science that seeks to explain the nature of being and reality and it is speculative philosophy in general. When Jesus called one by one His twelve apostles they followed Him and left everything they have. Practically speaking, “why one man should go with the person whom personally he does not know?” When Jesus called their name and said come Follow Me” they left everything and followed Jesus. Lk.5:1-11, Mt.4:18-22, Mk.1:16-20, Jn.1:35-51. The science of Psychology should explain this event. Psychology is the science that studies the human mind and behavior and mental state.
Even the spirits obey Jesus and know who Jesus is. Mk.5:1-13, Mt.8:28-34, Lk.8:26-39, Mk.9:14-27, Mt.17:14-21, Lk.9:37-43, Lk.4:31-37 and Mk.1:21-28, the psychics must explain these in the basis of scientific methods and principles, who this man called Jesus.
The different branches of science should prove and explain, the events in the life of Jesus, basing on the systematized body of information derived from the scientific methods and knowledge gained through careful observations of objects and events (Biology, Capco and Yang). If Jesus is just mere human being, how could all these events happen which the human mind cannot comprehend and grasp. If Jesus is in the scope of human mind, He is under science.
Almost no branches of science can explain the events in Jesus life on earth. Impossible things made possible. Scientific methods to derive information is not applicable to the events in the life of Jesus, man had ever experienced during His public ministry as well as during our days. The science of faith as I call it, Miracles. Miracle up to these days does happen. Unexplainable instances and experience of human cannot be explained by merely scientific methods and human knowledge. Faith can, beyond science.
God made man and gave him mind to have knowledge, gain wisdom and understanding. Our minds are just one product of Gods love to us. Minds cannot go beyond the creator for He is the source of knowledge, wisdom and understanding man possess. Science is a vast of knowledge, the product of human minds, and the result of Gods gift for His children. It is Gods gift to man therefore the gift cannot supersedes the Giver. Jesus’ life on earth is one of the miracles ever happened beyond science but with in the parameter of faith. Much more, if Jesus is living in our hearts and minds, He is the greatest miracle ever happened in ones life. He changes everything what science have proven. Jesus is a fact and real person born of the Virgin Mary, but beyond science and human understanding, He is God. The wonder workers, the greatest miracle of Gods love to man. Unexplainable events happened, seen and experienced by the apostles, the believers are all recorded and passed on to the next generation. What this person named Jesus has done. Is this Jesus just an imagination or are these events written through time are just folktales? Only faith can say Jesus is Lord and God and He is beyond science. Isn’t it, these events, enough to prove that Jesus exists? That He is not a product of human imagination. He lives with us. In our hearts today. He was with His apostles yesterday and He will live and reigns forever. The only science that can say that Jesus is beyond science is Faith. Jesus is beyond science more than we ever know.

A man with an evil spirit Lk.4:31-35 and Mk.1:21-28. Jesus taught and healed in Lk.6:17-19 and Mt.4:23-25. Jesus in Lk.7 raised the widow’s son: 11-17. Jesus healed a sick man, Lk.14:1-6, ten men healed, Lk.17:11-19. Blind beggar was healed in Lk.18:35-43. Jesus healed an official’s son in Jn.4:43-54, Jesus healed at the pool Jn.5:1-18. A man born blind was healed Jn.9:1-12.

Jesus also had predicted and knows the future. All these things happened. The believers and non-believers alike have witnessed all these events. The Gospels have these written, Jesus said Peter will deny Him and it happened, Mt.26:31-35, Mk.14:27-31, Jn.13:36-38, Jesus told His apostles of His death, Jn. 12:27-36, Mt.16:21-23, Mk.8:31, 9:1, Lk.9:22-27, Mt.20:17-19, Mk.10:32-34, Lk.18:31-34. If we are alive and hear Jesus talking about His death, we will be amazed and have that feeling of awe, and say, “how could this man know the future even His death?” Even the persecutions of His followers. Mt.10:16-23, Mk.13:9-13, Lk.21:12-17, Mt.24:3-14, Lk.21:7-19. He also speaks about the future destruction, Mt.24:1-25, Mk.13:1-27, Lk.21:5-28. Moreover, His coming as king and judge in Mt.24:29-31, Mk.13:24-27, Lk.21:25-28 at the end of times. Here the science of Metaphysics is being challenge because this is a branch of science that seeks to explain the nature of being and reality and it is speculative philosophy in general. When Jesus called one by one His twelve apostles they followed Him and left everything they have. Practically speaking, “why one man should go with the person whom personally he does not know?” When Jesus called their name and said come Follow Me” they left everything and followed Jesus. Lk.5:1-11, Mt.4:18-22, Mk.1:16-20, Jn.1:35-51. The science of Psychology should explain this event. Psychology is the science that studies the human mind and behavior and mental state.
Even the spirits obey Jesus and know who Jesus is. Mk.5:1-13, Mt.8:28-34, Lk.8:26-39, Mk.9:14-27, Mt.17:14-21, Lk.9:37-43, Lk.4:31-37 and Mk.1:21-28, the psychics must explain these in the basis of scientific methods and principles, who this man called Jesus.
The different branches of science should prove and explain, the events in the life of Jesus, basing on the systematized body of information derived from the scientific methods and knowledge gained through careful observations of objects and events (Biology, Capco and Yang). If Jesus is just mere human being, how could all these events happen which the human mind cannot comprehend and grasp. If Jesus is in the scope of human mind, He is under science.
Almost no branches of science can explain the events in Jesus life on earth. Impossible things made possible. Scientific methods to derive information is not applicable to the events in the life of Jesus, man had ever experienced during His public ministry as well as during our days. The science of faith as I call it, Miracles. Miracle up to these days does happen. Unexplainable instances and experience of human cannot be explained by merely scientific methods and human knowledge. Faith can, beyond science.
God made man and gave him mind to have knowledge, gain wisdom and understanding. Our minds are just one product of Gods love to us. Minds cannot go beyond the creator for He is the source of knowledge, wisdom and understanding man possess. Science is a vast of knowledge, the product of human minds, and the result of Gods gift for His children. It is Gods gift to man therefore the gift cannot supersedes the Giver. Jesus’ life on earth is one of the miracles ever happened beyond science but with in the parameter of faith. Much more, if Jesus is living in our hearts and minds, He is the greatest miracle ever happened in ones life. He changes everything what science have proven. Jesus is a fact and real person born of the Virgin Mary, but beyond science and human understanding, He is God. The wonder workers, the greatest miracle of Gods love to man. Unexplainable events happened, seen and experienced by the apostles, the believers are all recorded and passed on to the next generation. What this person named Jesus has done. Is this Jesus just an imagination or are these events written through time are just folktales? Only faith can say Jesus is Lord and God and He is beyond science. Isn’t it, these events, enough to prove that Jesus exists? That He is not a product of human imagination. He lives with us. In our hearts today. He was with His apostles yesterday and He will live and reigns forever. The only science that can say that Jesus is beyond science is Faith. Jesus is beyond science more than we ever know.

“THE POWER OF GOD’S LOVE”

It has been a long time since I ask the questions, “Who am I?” “Why I was born in this world?” “What is in me that, I am? “I have experience a lot of trials and tests from birth to my present life. Moreover, in every time I experienced them, questions are always in my mind. Every time I am in the eye of the cyclone of life, I always ask myself “Why am I here in this world? Why I was born in this world?” and lot of questions bothers me.
Until such time I answered my own question. “Man is born to die”. We were born to die. That is the idea that came out of my human mind. Man was born and after this life, man dies. Logically accepted. Again, I ask myself “I was born to die, just like that?”I have no worth, No value at all. I am no difference with animals and other living things. No! There is something else. I am not convinced with that idea. I am just confounded with my own human idea when I answered my own questions.
I turned to God and ask His wisdom, knowledge and understanding to have a little bit of an answer to my questions. Here I saw the difference of human mind wisdom and understanding. I ask Him to help me answer the questions I ask myself long time ago. God’s inspirations came to me and inspire me to write, “Man is born to love and to be loved”.
First, I was inspired just to write, “Man is born to love and to be loved” But I told Him, “Lord any ordinary man can easily understand, what you mean, How about dying? “What does it mean? For what? He never gave me an answer. Until the day when my grandfather died on December 9, 1997 and my grandmother on October 18, 1999, that is why I am so much affected when they died. Those questions again rose up and ask God “Why do we have to die, Lord? “Man is born to loved, to be loved and to die and reborn to eternal life”. The purpose of “being born” in this world is to experience, to love and to be loved and life is all about loving. Loving God and loving one another. It is already an experience of what heaven is all about. To die is the end of our physical being, our mortal being, but the beginning of our next life.
I am going to share with you the inspiration that the Holy Spirit wanted me to share. The inspiration that will open our minds and hearts, of who we are.
Man was born because it is Gods will. He created man out of His love for us…”because you are PRECIOUS to me and because I LOVE YOU and give you HONOR”Is.43:4. Therefore, because He created us out of His Love, He made us, He created us not just a mere human being but cloth with honor and dignity because we are PRECIOUS to Gods eyes. He created us like Himself. We resembles Gods image. “Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resembles us”Gen.1:26 and in Genesis 1:27, “So God created human beings, making them to be like HIMSELF, He created them male and female”. It is God Himself made and created man, He did not stop there but continuously said, “…they will have POWER over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small”Gen.1:26. God gave man, His LIKENESS and that resembles Him the power over animals that are also Gods creation. Therefore, here man is superior to animals. God gave man the POWER; He is the source of our power because God Himself is POWER. He is the creator. The POWERFUL ONE. HE IS GOD (Ps.90:1)
Some of the power He gave man physical strength, an ability to procreate, talents, the mind to think, work, controlling influence, authority and a lot more. Nevertheless, the highest of all power He gave us is the POWER TO LOVE. LOVE is the greatest of all power. LOVE IS POWER. God gave this gift to us, for power is a gift from God. Love is the greatest of all, “…the greatest of these is love.”1Cor.13:13. God created us because He loves us, H wants to share what He Has and wanted us to experience, His Power of Love. We were born because of the POWER OF HIS LOVE. Moreover, this power of His love is in us. We are capable of loving because we have the power of His love. We received this power the time when we were conceived in our mothers’ womb. Our life is love. Life is love, because it is God who gave us LIFE and God is Love. “Whoever does not love, does not know God, for GOD IS LOVE.”1Jn.4:8
In the creation story, Gen.1:1-31, 2:1-7, God did not just create man but He breathed on them. We are lifeless; we are just made, out of the soil from the ground. When God breathed on the soil in the form of man, man begun to live and that breath of life, His love to us, Genesis 2:7. Moreover, after doing it God was very pleased, “God looked at everything He had made and He was very pleased”Gen.1:31.
The story of creation tells us that God Loves us first, He formed us, He created us in His own image and likeness, He breathed on us to have life and gave us the power over all the creation because only man, God gave the power to love. In order to experience this power of love, we have to love others too. In addition, by loving others we will be able to see and experience what love is. No encyclopedia or dictionary can ever define or describe what love is. No computer or high tech gadgets can ever search the exact meaning of love. Only in God, we find the real love in the person of Jesus. In the heart of man by experiencing love. By experiencing love, we find the meaning of it.
The exact and perfect description of what love is, when the Son of God, Jesus Christ was born, suffered and died on the cross. There, by our eyes as we looked at Him hanging on the cross, telling us the perfect definition, the perfect description of what love is all about. “For God so LOVED the world that He gave His Only Son …”Jn.3:16. Dying for ourselves and dying for others, “We were born to love and to be loved…”
God loves us first so that we will also share that love to others. Let all of us experience how He loved us, so that we know how to love others. This is the very reason why we were born. “Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins”1Pet.4:8
There are three ways in my own reflection and understanding how God loved us. He loved us in WORDS, which is proven in the story of creation. God created everything by His powerful words (Gen.1:1-30). God loves us in FLESH. He sends His Son Jesus to tell the whole world how much He loves us. He gave up His life for us. He offered His body and blood for our salvation from sin through the cross. Through His passion, death and resurrection we are saved. God loves us in ACTION through the life and works of Jesus, His Only begotten Son, He showed us how God loves us (Jn.3:16)
Man should also love God and others by WORD, FLESH (selflessness) and ACTION by expressing love that can be seen and felt by God and our neighbors.
Loving God, loving our neighbor are just some of the requirements in order to inherit our final home, our final destiny after death…HEAVEN.
We have to die, to end our physical nature, the soil that God formed in the story of creation. “…you were made from soil and you will become soil again”.Gen.3:19. In dying, it is the beginning of another life with the Lord but the end of our mortal body.
One of my professor in college said, “If to die is to see God, I would rather embrace death.” she said it during our religious studies class. Moreover, it really penetrated the deepest part of my heart and until now, whenever I feel the fangs of death I feel inspired. In the contrary “I want to die”, I want to see God face to face. However, the question is, “Can I look at His face? Can my eye look at His eyes directly? I am a sinner. A sinful man. Am I going to be with Him when I die?”
We all know that Jesus came to the world to save us and we are now saved by His blood on the cross, “Christ himself carried our sins in His body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by His wounds that you have been healed; 1Pt.3:24. However, do we continue to live that salvation in our daily life? Man existed physically, because man occupies space and spiritual existence for man has the breath of life, his soul, man has a spirit. This existence is written in the First epistle of Peter 4:6.
“That is why the good news was preached also to the dead, to those who had been judged in their physical existence as everyone is judge; it was preached to them so that in their spiritual existence they may live as God lives”. That will answer the question, “What does man compose of?”
There are two meaning of death. Physical death, which is (1) the end of our life, our physical or bodily existence and (2) the punishment of our spirit, the eternal damnation that is our Spiritual existence. This is when God retrieves His breath on us. Psalm 89:48, “Who can live and never die? How can we humans keep ourselves from the grave”. We all know that if we follow Jesus and obey His teachings we will be with Him in His kingdom. We can be with Him by passing through death, and after death, life forever is waiting us.
Let us go back to life in the Old Testament. God formed man from soil and lifeless. He breathed on them and man began to live,” He breathed life giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live”Gen.2:7. Man is Gods image and likeness and He gave the power and authority over all creation next to angels (Hebrew 2:5-10). After breathing on them man begins to have life, and then God gave man the power and authority, “You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes” Ps.91:13. “…I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds and all the wild animals”Gen.1:28. Man is blessed by God and loved by Him that is why He gave Life, Power and Authority because man is Gods Likeness and His Image.
In the New Testament, Jesus the Son of God formed us through His teachings. He molds us like clay, to be like Him when He said, “Come follow me…”Lk.18:22. Jesus came to give us life to the fullest. The life, God the Creator gave Adam and Eve in the Old Testament was lost, because of the disobedience of man to God, they died. Jesus came to give us life,”Jesus answered him: I am the way the truth and the LIFE; no one goes to the Father except by me”Jn.14:6. In order to have this life from God the Father again, Jesus promised His followers that when He is back in His kingdom, He would send His Holy Spirit the paraclete, the Power. “But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with POWER” Acts 1:8.
When God in the story of creation, He breathed on man, He begins to have LIFE then God gave him POWER and AUTHORITY. In John 20:22 says, “Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit”. When the apostles received Gods Power and Authority in its fullness,”Listen! I have given you Authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing will hurt you” Lk.10:19. In addition, in Mark 16:17-18 “Believers will be given the POWER to perform miracles, they will drive out demons in my name; they will not be harmed. They will place their hands on sick people and these will get well”.
The apostles perform miracles in the name of Jesus after they received the Holy Spirit. “Many miracles and wonders were being performed among the people by the apostles” Acts 5:12
In the Old Testament, the WORD is God. “In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God and the Word was God…the Word was the source of Life and this Life brought light to people”Jn.1:1-4. In the New Testament, miracles and wonders do happen through the Word, JESUS. In the name of Jesus Impossible became POSSIBLE. In just a WORD, miracles do happen. “This is impossible for human being, but not for God; everything is possible for God” Mk.10:27. In Luke 1:37 the angel Gabriel said to Mary”…for there is nothing that God can not do”. Actually, the Blessed Virgin Mary received first the Holy Spirit in fullness before anybody else, when she said “YES” to God in her FIAT. “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and Gods POWER will REST upon you” Lk.1:35. Where the Holy Spirit is, Jesus is present. When Mary said “I am the Lords servant…may it happen to me as you have said”Lk.1:38, immediately the Holy Spirit Lives in Mary, and in her, the Holy Spirit rests. Jesus is in Mary. Whoever has the presence of the Holy Spirit he is blessed. Mary was the first person called blessed for she is the one who first received and accepted the Holt Spirit in her. “The angel came to her and said “PEACE be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly BLESSED YOU”Lk.1:28. In Luke 1:48, “…all ages to come shall call me BLESSED”. AVE MARIA!
Man was given by God dominion over all creation in the Old Testament same with the New Testament through the Holy Spirit man was given by God the Power over all creation and even greater things, the Son of the Living God, Jesus have performed here on earth. “I am telling you the truth; those who will believe in me will DO WHAT I they DO-Yes will do even GREATER things…”Jn14:12
Therefore, if we summarize from the story of Life – CREATION, to the life of Jesus – FULFILLMENT OF CREATION the BREATH of God is the HOLY SPIRIT that gives LIFE. “The Holy Spirit has given us LIFE; He must also control our lives” Gal.5:25. After the resurrection of Jesus, He appeared to His disciples, “Jesus said to them, PEACE be with you”, “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you” BREATHED on them and said “RECEIVE the HOLY SPIRIT”Jn.20:21-22
The New Testament is the FULFILLMENT of what is written in the Old Testament. Man must receive the Holy Spirit the breath of life in order for us to have the power of God, to have authority over all creation of God. Life is a gift it is Gods love to man and because of this love He gave us Power and Authority through the Holy Spirit. This gift must be used correctly in accordance to Gods law.
The irony here is that all of us living now have life therefore; all of us have the Holy Spirit? No! man have life which is the breath of God, all of us was breathed by God, but these breath of God is just simply to give us life and be alive and just to live. The fulfillment of this life, the breath of God is in the Holy Spirit and only those who follow and obey the will of God the Father will be given the Holy Spirit with Gods gifts. By means of these gifts, Gods mark of ownership on you (Eph.4:30). We will know that the Holy Spirit is in us by bearing much fruit. “My Fathers glory is shown by your bearing much fruit and in this way you become my disciples”Jn.15:8. In Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and conquer it”. A person with the Holy Spirit must be fruitful. And what are the fruits that man should multiply? In Galatians 5:22-23, “But the Spirit produces LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, HUMILITY and SELF CONTROL”. A person with the Holy Spirit in him must bear fruit because Jesus is our vine, “I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them, will bear much fruit, for you can do nothing without me”Jn.15:5
If we are truly disciples of Jesus, “We must live like Him and controlled by His Love”Eph.5:1-2. Remember that God created us in His image and likeness. God is Love. He breathed on us to have life, to experience His constant and untiring love. For life is Love, because God is Love. God’s power of Love is so intense and great. “But Gods mercy is so abundant and His LOVE for us is so GREAT that you have been saved”Eph.5:1-2. Gods love is constant, “I have always LOVED YOU, so I continue to show you my constant love”Jer.31:3
Love therefore is the answer to the question of life. “Love is the tough, essential answer to the riddle of human existence, of human wholeness and happiness.” The answer to the question, why we were born? Why we exist? Without love, human life is seriously incomplete because to love is to live, and to live is to love. The fulfillment of loving while living is “TO LOVE IS TO DIE FOR ONESELF IN ORDER THAT OTHERS MAY LIVE IN THE LOVE OF CHRIST”. We begin our life with God and will end with God.

“If I had only a short time to live, I would immediately contact all the people I had really loved and I’d make sure they knew I had really loved them. Then I would play all the record that meant most to me and I would sing all my favorite songs. And, Oh! I would dance. I would dance all night. Love is the greatest of all, “…the greatest of these is love.”1Cor.13:13. God created us because He loves us, H wants to share what He Has and wanted us to experience, His Power of Love. We were born because of the POWER OF HIS LOVE. Moreover, this power of His love is in us. We are capable of loving because we have the power of His love. We received this power the time when we were conceived in our mothers’ womb. Our life is love. Life is love, because it is God who gave us LIFE and God is Love. “Whoever does not love, does not know God, for GOD IS LOVE.”1Jn.4:8
In the creation story, Gen.1:1-31, 2:1-7, God did not just create man but He breathed on them. We are lifeless; we are just made, out of the soil from the ground. When God breathed on the soil in the form of man, man begun to live and that breath of life, His love to us, Genesis 2:7. Moreover, after doing it God was very pleased, “God looked at everything He had made and He was very pleased”Gen.1:31.
The story of creation tells us that God Loves us first, He formed us, He created us in His own image and likeness, He breathed on us to have life and gave us the power over all the creation because only man, God gave the power to love. In order to experience this power of love, we have to love others too. In addition, by loving others we will be able to see and experience what love is. No encyclopedia or dictionary can ever define or describe what love is. No computer or high tech gadgets can ever search the exact meaning of love. Only in God, we find the real love in the person of Jesus. In the heart of man by experiencing love. By experiencing love, we find the meaning of it.
The exact and perfect description of what love is, when the Son of God, Jesus Christ was born, suffered and died on the cross. There, by our eyes as we looked at Him hanging on the cross, telling us the perfect definition, the perfect description of what love is all about. “For God so LOVED the world that He gave His Only Son …”Jn.3:16. Dying for ourselves and dying for others, “We were born to love and to be loved…”
God loves us first so that we will also share that love to others. Let all of us experience how He loved us, so that we know how to love others. This is the very reason why we were born. “Above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins”1Pet.4:8
There are three ways in my own reflection and understanding how God loved us. He loved us in WORDS, which is proven in the story of creation. God created everything by His powerful words (Gen.1:1-30). God loves us in FLESH. He sends His Son Jesus to tell the whole world how much He loves us. He gave up His life for us. He offered His body and blood for our salvation from sin through the cross. Through His passion, death and resurrection we are saved. God loves us in ACTION through the life and works of Jesus, His Only begotten Son, He showed us how God loves us (Jn.3:16)
Man should also love God and others by WORD, FLESH (selflessness) and ACTION by expressing love that can be seen and felt by God and our neighbors.
Loving God, loving our neighbor are just some of the requirements in order to inherit our final home, our final destiny after death…HEAVEN.
We have to die, to end our physical nature, the soil that God formed in the story of creation. “…you were made from soil and you will become soil again”.Gen.3:19. In dying, it is the beginning of another life with the Lord but the end of our mortal body.
One of my professor in college said, “If to die is to see God, I would rather embrace death.” she said it during our religious studies class. Moreover, it really penetrated the deepest part of my heart and until now, whenever I feel the fangs of death I feel inspired. In the contrary “I want to die”, I want to see God face to face. However, the question is, “Can I look at His face? Can my eye look at His eyes directly? I am a sinner. A sinful man. Am I going to be with Him when I die?”
We all know that Jesus came to the world to save us and we are now saved by His blood on the cross, “Christ himself carried our sins in His body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. It is by His wounds that you have been healed; 1Pt.3:24. However, do we continue to live that salvation in our daily life? Man existed physically, because man occupies space and spiritual existence for man has the breath of life, his soul, man has a spirit. This existence is written in the First epistle of Peter 4:6.
“That is why the good news was preached also to the dead, to those who had been judged in their physical existence as everyone is judge; it was preached to them so that in their spiritual existence they may live as God lives”. That will answer the question, “What does man compose of?”
There are two meaning of death. Physical death, which is (1) the end of our life, our physical or bodily existence and (2) the punishment of our spirit, the eternal damnation that is our Spiritual existence. This is when God retrieves His breath on us. Psalm 89:48, “Who can live and never die? How can we humans keep ourselves from the grave”. We all know that if we follow Jesus and obey His teachings we will be with Him in His kingdom. We can be with Him by passing through death, and after death, life forever is waiting us.
Let us go back to life in the Old Testament. God formed man from soil and lifeless. He breathed on them and man began to live,” He breathed life giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live”Gen.2:7. Man is Gods image and likeness and He gave the power and authority over all creation next to angels (Hebrew 2:5-10). After breathing on them man begins to have life, and then God gave man the power and authority, “You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes” Ps.91:13. “…I am putting you in charge of the fish, the birds and all the wild animals”Gen.1:28. Man is blessed by God and loved by Him that is why He gave Life, Power and Authority because man is Gods Likeness and His Image.
In the New Testament, Jesus the Son of God formed us through His teachings. He molds us like clay, to be like Him when He said, “Come follow me…”Lk.18:22. Jesus came to give us life to the fullest. The life, God the Creator gave Adam and Eve in the Old Testament was lost, because of the disobedience of man to God, they died. Jesus came to give us life,”Jesus answered him: I am the way the truth and the LIFE; no one goes to the Father except by me”Jn.14:6. In order to have this life from God the Father again, Jesus promised His followers that when He is back in His kingdom, He would send His Holy Spirit the paraclete, the Power. “But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with POWER” Acts 1:8.
When God in the story of creation, He breathed on man, He begins to have LIFE then God gave him POWER and AUTHORITY. In John 20:22 says, “Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit”. When the apostles received Gods Power and Authority in its fullness,”Listen! I have given you Authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing will hurt you” Lk.10:19. In addition, in Mark 16:17-18 “Believers will be given the POWER to perform miracles, they will drive out demons in my name; they will not be harmed. They will place their hands on sick people and these will get well”.
The apostles perform miracles in the name of Jesus after they received the Holy Spirit. “Many miracles and wonders were being performed among the people by the apostles” Acts 5:12
In the Old Testament, the WORD is God. “In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God and the Word was God…the Word was the source of Life and this Life brought light to people”Jn.1:1-4. In the New Testament, miracles and wonders do happen through the Word, JESUS. In the name of Jesus Impossible became POSSIBLE. In just a WORD, miracles do happen. “This is impossible for human being, but not for God; everything is possible for God” Mk.10:27. In Luke 1:37 the angel Gabriel said to Mary”…for there is nothing that God can not do”. Actually, the Blessed Virgin Mary received first the Holy Spirit in fullness before anybody else, when she said “YES” to God in her FIAT. “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and Gods POWER will REST upon you” Lk.1:35. Where the Holy Spirit is, Jesus is present. When Mary said “I am the Lords servant…may it happen to me as you have said”Lk.1:38, immediately the Holy Spirit Lives in Mary, and in her, the Holy Spirit rests. Jesus is in Mary. Whoever has the presence of the Holy Spirit he is blessed. Mary was the first person called blessed for she is the one who first received and accepted the Holt Spirit in her. “The angel came to her and said “PEACE be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly BLESSED YOU”Lk.1:28. In Luke 1:48, “…all ages to come shall call me BLESSED”. AVE MARIA!
Man was given by God dominion over all creation in the Old Testament same with the New Testament through the Holy Spirit man was given by God the Power over all creation and even greater things, the Son of the Living God, Jesus have performed here on earth. “I am telling you the truth; those who will believe in me will DO WHAT I they DO-Yes will do even GREATER things…”Jn14:12
Therefore, if we summarize from the story of Life – CREATION, to the life of Jesus – FULFILLMENT OF CREATION the BREATH of God is the HOLY SPIRIT that gives LIFE. “The Holy Spirit has given us LIFE; He must also control our lives” Gal.5:25. After the resurrection of Jesus, He appeared to His disciples, “Jesus said to them, PEACE be with you”, “As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you” BREATHED on them and said “RECEIVE the HOLY SPIRIT”Jn.20:21-22
The New Testament is the FULFILLMENT of what is written in the Old Testament. Man must receive the Holy Spirit the breath of life in order for us to have the power of God, to have authority over all creation of God. Life is a gift it is Gods love to man and because of this love He gave us Power and Authority through the Holy Spirit. This gift must be used correctly in accordance to Gods law.
The irony here is that all of us living now have life therefore; all of us have the Holy Spirit? No! man have life which is the breath of God, all of us was breathed by God, but these breath of God is just simply to give us life and be alive and just to live. The fulfillment of this life, the breath of God is in the Holy Spirit and only those who follow and obey the will of God the Father will be given the Holy Spirit with Gods gifts. By means of these gifts, Gods mark of ownership on you (Eph.4:30). We will know that the Holy Spirit is in us by bearing much fruit. “My Fathers glory is shown by your bearing much fruit and in this way you become my disciples”Jn.15:8. In Genesis 1:28 “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and conquer it”. A person with the Holy Spirit must be fruitful. And what are the fruits that man should multiply? In Galatians 5:22-23, “But the Spirit produces LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, HUMILITY and SELF CONTROL”. A person with the Holy Spirit in him must bear fruit because Jesus is our vine, “I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them, will bear much fruit, for you can do nothing without me”Jn.15:5
If we are truly disciples of Jesus, “We must live like Him and controlled by His Love”Eph.5:1-2. Remember that God created us in His image and likeness. God is Love. He breathed on us to have life, to experience His constant and untiring love. For life is Love, because God is Love. God’s power of Love is so intense and great. “But Gods mercy is so abundant and His LOVE for us is so GREAT that you have been saved”Eph.5:1-2. Gods love is constant, “I have always LOVED YOU, so I continue to show you my constant love”Jer.31:3
Love therefore is the answer to the question of life. “Love is the tough, essential answer to the riddle of human existence, of human wholeness and happiness.” The answer to the question, why we were born? Why we exist? Without love, human life is seriously incomplete because to love is to live, and to live is to love. The fulfillment of loving while living is “TO LOVE IS TO DIE FOR ONESELF IN ORDER THAT OTHERS MAY LIVE IN THE LOVE OF CHRIST”. We begin our life with God and will end with God.
I would like to share with you a poem of a young girl:
“If I had only a short time to live, I would immediately contact all the people I had really loved and I’d make sure they knew I had really loved them. Then I would play all the record that meant most to me and I would sing all my favorite songs. And, Oh! I would dance. I would dance all night. I would look at my blue skies and feel my warm sunshine. I would tell the moon and the stars how lovely and beautiful they are…I would say “Good bye” to all the little things I own, my clothes, my books and my stuff. Then I would thank God for the great gift of life and die in His arms” (College Girls Journal)

In John 14:15,21, Jesus said “If you love me, you will obey my commandments “ OBEDIENCE to Gods commandments means LOVE and He will send His Holy spirit our helper, the paraclete for what? To reveal the TRUTH about GOD. To reveal means to make unknown to be known. After we obey God, He gives us a gift, a reciprocal love who is the Holy Spirit of God, His love for us. Because of our obedience to Jesus, we show our love to God, then He will REVEAL HIMSELF to us. HIS VERY SELF. WOW! Great GOD and MIGHTY GOD we have! What are these things that we have to obey? “LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART,WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND…LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF “Mt.22:37-39.If we OBEY GOD, If we will follow His commands He will reveal Himself to us. It is written, “Once and for all I will make the nations know my power and my might; they will know that I am the Lord” Jer.16:21
In accepting Jesus’ commands, we OBEY Him and He will REVEAL Himself by the help of the Holy Spirit about the TRUTH. One of the problems of the apostles that confront them is, when Jesus will leave them. The apostles start to worry. They were very much troubled. They are so worried of so many things because of Jesus will be back soon to the Father. John 14:28. They worry because of Jesus’ words of leaving them. There is a powerful word Jesus uttered to them…”PEACE!”. “PEACE is what I leave with you” Jn.14:27. Then He followed it up with, “DO NOT BE WORRIED AND UPSET, BELIEVE IN GOD AND BELIEVE ALSO IN ME.” In our world today, oh, we have so many things that bother us for example economic problems, emotional problems physical problems, political problems, ecological, cultural and spiritual problems. We are personally confronted with day- to- day worries. We worry about today and much more , we are worried of what lies tomorrow. In Matthew 6:25-34 describes the worries of man. This is what we are. These are the worries of man. Food, clothing, shelter, and what the future will bring. Again, Jesus said, “SO DO NOT START WORRYING “Mt.6:31. It is Jesus whom we believed and worship talking to us. Do we really BELIEVED and FOLLOW Jesus? If we do, then “DO NOT BE WORRIED! DO NOT BE UPSET! “INSTEAD, BE CONCERNED ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE WITH WHAT HE REQUIRES OF YOU AND HE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ALL THESE OTHER THINGS” Mt.6:33. “Do not worry about tomorrow, it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings “Mt.6:34.
In the Old testament Genesis 1:1-36, 2:1-7, the story of creation, God created all things. He created them, the universe, the earth, plants and animals, everything seen and unseen. God is the Creator. Before God created man, He prepared the world and put everything in order for He is the God of Order. He created man after everything else where created. God wanted that the world is complete. He supplied everything for man not to worry. God made everything PERFECT for GOD is PERFECT. “He created man in His IMAGE and LIKENESS”,Gen.1-26-27. Man lived in a beautiful and perfect place God created for them, THE PARADISE. The place of Perfect Harmony between GOD the creator and creation. When God breathed on man, man began to have LIFE. LIFE is GOD. He is the source of our life and the source of everything we have. He created us, as He will and not on our own will. Therefore, He created us , and He wanted
us to experience His Love and this love is manifested in our lives and creation.
LIFE itself is already, God’s Love for us, a gift. The first man and woman God created lived in paradise, the perfect place for man to lived in harmony with his creator. No worries in paradise. To live with God is PARADISE. God HIMSELF is The Paradise. Only then when man started to disobey God, felt WORRIES..
When we disobey God, we commit sin, then we start to doubt, we begin to turn away from God and worries start to control us. Jesus said “ Love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind “Mt.22:37-39 “…and with all your strength “ Mk.12:29-30.
We commit a mortal sin against the first commandment of NOT LOVING GOD. If we do not love God,
we do not TRUST Him. If we do not TRUST Him we DO NOT OBEY HIM and we commit a sin, the sin of worrying, the sin of disobedience to God.
If God is in you, you DO NOT have to WORRY. WORRYING is Satan’s way of keeping us away from God’s Love. He wanted us to worry of worldly things, because he cannot over power God. Man lives with the material world. This is man’s weakness, the worldly possessions. Satan is attacking us with our weaknesses. The trick of WORRYING brings us away from our God. The worst product of worry is self - pity that brings man to self-destruction. Destruction of man’s SPIRITUALITY, his LOVE, TRUST and FAITH in GOD. When we are trap by committing sin, Satan will leave us behind, suffering the consequences sin we committed.
Remember, it is God who chose us, gave us the breathed of life, He created us. It is written “ I chose you before I gave you life and before you were born…”Jer.1:5 Does your Heavenly Father forget His child? NO! He is the ONE who created us. He is our creator and Father. Isaiah 44:2, He will never leave us nor abandon us, “ I will never leave you, I will never abandon you “Heb.13:5. He created us, chose us, and called us His sons and daughters in 1Jn.3:1,” See how much the Father has loved us! His love is so great that we are called God’s children “. WHY DO WE WORRY? Isn’t it, God is our FATHER, the CREATOR of everything? He will supply all our needs, “ And with all His ABUNDANT WEALTH through Christ Jesus, My GOD will SUPPLY ALL your NEEDS”Phil.4:19 and Mt.6:33. “…He will PROVIDE you with all these things.
“ But before He can provide us all this things that we need we have to go to Jesus, “Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest “ Mt.11:28. Approach , Accept, Believe and Obey God and the TRUTH will be revealed. The truth is, God is the source of everything, and all good things come from God. DO NOT WORRY for WORRYING is NOT OF GOD! Believe in God, have faith in Him and obey Him. “ The Lord takes care of those who obey Him and the land will be theirs forever, they will not suffer when times are bad; they will have enough in time of famine”Ps.37:18. Trust Him, “ I will bless the person who puts his trust in me”Jer.17:7. If we accept Jesus nothing to worry and we obey Jesus, NO MORE WORRIES and He will REVEAL Himself to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. WORRY NO MORE! Jesus tells us NOT TO WORRY in John 6:63 “ What gives life is Gods spirit, human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring Gods life giving spirit” So when we worry it is human power and it is useless. Our God is the Father and He knows everything, Proverbs 5:21 “The Lord sees everything you do, wherever you go, He is watching”. He knows what we need. ”Your Father in heaven knows what you need all these things “Mt.6:32. So, what do we have to do? Ask the Father of what you want, ”Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, and the door will be opened to you, for those who ask will receive and those who seek will find, and the door will be opened to anyone who knocks”Lk.11:9-10. Ask in PRAYER. ”Do not worry about anything, but in all your PRAYERS ask GOD for what you need, always asking Him with a thankful heart”Eph.4:6. “Jesus told His disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discourage”Lk.18:1. But when we pray, we have to be in the power of the Holy Spirit and with faith. “But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith.
Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit” Jude 20-21. When we pray to the Father we must be joyful always, and we should pray not only once but all the time and be thankful always. “ Be joyful always. Pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God want from you, in your life in union with Christ Jesus”1Thes.5:16-18.
“Be persistent in prayer and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God”Col.4:2. “Do all these in prayer, asking for Gods help. Pray on every occasion as the spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up: pray always for all Gods people”Eph.6:18. When we pray we have to believe that we have received it. ”When we pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for. And when you stand and pray forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your Father in Heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done”. Jesus said, “When that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of Him in my name…ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete”Jn.16:23-24, inspires us that God wants us to be happy by answering our prayers. God always answer us through our prayers and it is the only communication we have to touch the heart of God and knock the doors of heaven. “When you pray, I will answer you, when you call to me, I will respond”Is.58:9. Having an intimate relationship with the Lord means, we have constant communication and always keeping in touch with Him. We should have an intimate relationship with God before we could ask anything .”If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish and you shall have it”Jn.15:7. It is like this, why will give something you have to somebody you do not know? Why will you give your wealth to somebody who you do not have an intimate relationship? Why will God give you what you ask for if He does not know you at all? If we do not know God and if God does not know us, who are we to ask something from Him? In order for God to answer our prayers, an intimate relationship with Jesus His son is required. “…ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete”Jn.16:24. When we ask, God will answer our prayers because God loves us, because we have that intimate relationship with Jesus His Son.
”For the Father Himself Loves you He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God”Jn.16:27. Here an intimate relationship between God, man and Jesus, is being described. When somebody has an intimate relationship, love begins to grow. ”I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them, will bear much fruit, for you can do nothing with out me”Jn.15:5 and in John 15:9 “I love you just as the Father loves me; remain in my love”. We are precious in Gods sight. He loves us so much. “I will give up whole nations to save your life, because you are PRECIOUS to me and because I LOVE YOU and give you HONOR”Is.43:4. The Lord God said, “I am the Lord who created you, from the time you were born I have helped you. Do not be afraid; you are my servant my chosen people whom I love”Is.44:2. “The mountains and hills may crumble but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace, so says the Lord who loves you”Is.54:10
WORRY NO MORE ! “The Lord takes care of those who obey Him. We should not give in to worry. Let us be humble. Let us approach the Father in humility with contrite heart. Let us TRUST the Lord. ”Do not give in to worry or anger it only leads to trouble. Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land, but the wicked will be driven out”Ps.37:8-9.
Let us NOT WORRY! God says “I alone am the Lord, the ONLY ONE who can SAVE you”Is.43:11. God our Father, our Creator will always be our God. No one can change, what He does, ”I am God and always will be” NO one can ESCAPE from my POWER; NO ONE can CHANGE WHAT I DO”Is.43:13
In times of worries, God says “Turn to me now and be saved, all over the world, I am the only God there is”Is.45:22. In times of worries, we should turn to God our Father because He cares for us. “…I have cared for you from the time you were born. I am your God, and will take care of you, until you are old and your hair is gray, I made you and will care for you. I will give you help and rescue you”Is.46:3-4.
We have to offer and lift up to God our worries. “Leave all your worries with Him, because He cares for you”1Pt.5:7,”
WORRY, NO MORE!!! The Lord says “I am the one who strengthens you…”Is.51:12. “I have given you my teaching, and I protect you with my hand”Is.51:16
WORRY NO MORE!!! For The Lord God is our Provider. ”Abraham named that place, the LORD PROVIDES and even today people say, ”On the Lords mountain He provides”Gen.22:14.
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He left us His promise, a promise of hope, ”Teach them to OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND I WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS TO THE END OF THE AGE”Mt.28:20
WORRY NO MORE !!! HE LOVES YOU…HE LOVES US ALL…AND HE CARES FOR ALL OF US TILL THE END OF TIME…ALLELUIA! GLORY TO GOD FOREVER! SO BE IT !

This is what we are. These are the worries of man. Food, clothing, shelter, and what the future will bring. Again, Jesus said, “SO DO NOT START WORRYING “Mt.6:31. It is Jesus whom we believed and worship talking to us. Do we really BELIEVED and FOLLOW Jesus? If we do, then “DO NOT BE WORRIED! DO NOT BE UPSET! “INSTEAD, BE CONCERNED ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE WITH WHAT HE REQUIRES OF YOU AND HE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH ALL THESE OTHER THINGS” Mt.6:33. “Do not worry about tomorrow, it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings “Mt.6:34.
In the Old testament Genesis 1:1-36, 2:1-7, the story of creation, God created all things. He created them, the universe, the earth, plants and animals, everything seen and unseen. God is the Creator. Before God created man, He prepared the world and put everything in order for He is the God of Order. He created man after everything else where created. God wanted that the world is complete. He supplied everything for man not to worry. God made everything PERFECT for GOD is PERFECT. “He created man in His IMAGE and LIKENESS”,Gen.1-26-27. Man lived in a beautiful and perfect place God created for them, THE PARADISE. The place of Perfect Harmony between GOD the creator and creation. When God breathed on man, man began to have LIFE. LIFE is GOD. He is the source of our life and the source of everything we have. He created us, as He will and not on our own will. Therefore, He created us , and He wanted
us to experience His Love and this love is manifested in our lives and creation.
LIFE itself is already, God’s Love for us, a gift. The first man and woman God created lived in paradise, the perfect place for man to lived in harmony with his creator. No worries in paradise. To live with God is PARADISE. God HIMSELF is The Paradise. Only then when man started to disobey God, felt WORRIES..
When we disobey God, we commit sin, then we start to doubt, we begin to turn away from God and worries start to control us. Jesus said “ Love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind “Mt.22:37-39 “…and with all your strength “ Mk.12:29-30.
We commit a mortal sin against the first commandment of NOT LOVING GOD. If we do not love God,
we do not TRUST Him. If we do not TRUST Him we DO NOT OBEY HIM and we commit a sin, the sin of worrying, the sin of disobedience to God.
If God is in you, you DO NOT have to WORRY. WORRYING is Satan’s way of keeping us away from God’s Love. He wanted us to worry of worldly things, because he cannot over power God. Man lives with the material world. This is man’s weakness, the worldly possessions. Satan is attacking us with our weaknesses. The trick of WORRYING brings us away from our God. The worst product of worry is self - pity that brings man to self-destruction. Destruction of man’s SPIRITUALITY, his LOVE, TRUST and FAITH in GOD. When we are trap by committing sin, Satan will leave us behind, suffering the consequences sin we committed.
Remember, it is God who chose us, gave us the breathed of life, He created us. It is written “ I chose you before I gave you life and before you were born…”Jer.1:5 Does your Heavenly Father forget His child? NO! He is the ONE who created us. He is our creator and Father. Isaiah 44:2, He will never leave us nor abandon us, “ I will never leave you, I will never abandon you “Heb.13:5. He created us, chose us, and called us His sons and daughters in 1Jn.3:1,” See how much the Father has loved us! His love is so great that we are called God’s children “. WHY DO WE WORRY? Isn’t it, God is our FATHER, the CREATOR of everything? He will supply all our needs, “ And with all His ABUNDANT WEALTH through Christ Jesus, My GOD will SUPPLY ALL your NEEDS”Phil.4:19 and Mt.6:33. “…He will PROVIDE you with all these things.
“ But before He can provide us all this things that we need we have to go to Jesus, “Come to me all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest “ Mt.11:28. Approach , Accept, Believe and Obey God and the TRUTH will be revealed. The truth is, God is the source of everything, and all good things come from God. DO NOT WORRY for WORRYING is NOT OF GOD! Believe in God, have faith in Him and obey Him. “ The Lord takes care of those who obey Him and the land will be theirs forever, they will not suffer when times are bad; they will have enough in time of famine”Ps.37:18. Trust Him, “ I will bless the person who puts his trust in me”Jer.17:7. If we accept Jesus nothing to worry and we obey Jesus, NO MORE WORRIES and He will REVEAL Himself to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. WORRY NO MORE! Jesus tells us NOT TO WORRY in John 6:63 “ What gives life is Gods spirit, human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring Gods life giving spirit” So when we worry it is human power and it is useless. Our God is the Father and He knows everything, Proverbs 5:21 “The Lord sees everything you do, wherever you go, He is watching”. He knows what we need. ”Your Father in heaven knows what you need all these things “Mt.6:32. So, what do we have to do? Ask the Father of what you want, ”Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, and the door will be opened to you, for those who ask will receive and those who seek will find, and the door will be opened to anyone who knocks”Lk.11:9-10. Ask in PRAYER. ”Do not worry about anything, but in all your PRAYERS ask GOD for what you need, always asking Him with a thankful heart”Eph.4:6. “Jesus told His disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discourage”Lk.18:1. But when we pray, we have to be in the power of the Holy Spirit and with faith. “But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith.
Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit” Jude 20-21. When we pray to the Father we must be joyful always, and we should pray not only once but all the time and be thankful always. “ Be joyful always. Pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God want from you, in your life in union with Christ Jesus”1Thes.5:16-18.
“Be persistent in prayer and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God”Col.4:2. “Do all these in prayer, asking for Gods help. Pray on every occasion as the spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up: pray always for all Gods people”Eph.6:18. When we pray we have to believe that we have received it. ”When we pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for. And when you stand and pray forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your Father in Heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done”. Jesus said, “When that day comes, you will not ask me for anything. I am telling you the truth: the Father will give you whatever you ask of Him in my name…ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete”Jn.16:23-24, inspires us that God wants us to be happy by answering our prayers. God always answer us through our prayers and it is the only communication we have to touch the heart of God and knock the doors of heaven. “When you pray, I will answer you, when you call to me, I will respond”Is.58:9. Having an intimate relationship with the Lord means, we have constant communication and always keeping in touch with Him. We should have an intimate relationship with God before we could ask anything .”If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish and you shall have it”Jn.15:7. It is like this, why will give something you have to somebody you do not know? Why will you give your wealth to somebody who you do not have an intimate relationship? Why will God give you what you ask for if He does not know you at all? If we do not know God and if God does not know us, who are we to ask something from Him? In order for God to answer our prayers, an intimate relationship with Jesus His son is required. “…ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete”Jn.16:24. When we ask, God will answer our prayers because God loves us, because we have that intimate relationship with Jesus His Son.
”For the Father Himself Loves you He loves you because you love me and have believed that I came from God”Jn.16:27. Here an intimate relationship between God, man and Jesus, is being described. When somebody has an intimate relationship, love begins to grow. ”I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who remain in me and I in them, will bear much fruit, for you can do nothing with out me”Jn.15:5 and in John 15:9 “I love you just as the Father loves me; remain in my love”. We are precious in Gods sight. He loves us so much. “I will give up whole nations to save your life, because you are PRECIOUS to me and because I LOVE YOU and give you HONOR”Is.43:4. The Lord God said, “I am the Lord who created you, from the time you were born I have helped you. Do not be afraid; you are my servant my chosen people whom I love”Is.44:2. “The mountains and hills may crumble but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace, so says the Lord who loves you”Is.54:10
WORRY NO MORE ! “The Lord takes care of those who obey Him. We should not give in to worry. Let us be humble. Let us approach the Father in humility with contrite heart. Let us TRUST the Lord. ”Do not give in to worry or anger it only leads to trouble. Those who trust in the Lord will possess the land, but the wicked will be driven out”Ps.37:8-9.
Let us NOT WORRY! God says “I alone am the Lord, the ONLY ONE who can SAVE you”Is.43:11. God our Father, our Creator will always be our God. No one can change, what He does, ”I am God and always will be” NO one can ESCAPE from my POWER; NO ONE can CHANGE WHAT I DO”Is.43:13
In times of worries, God says “Turn to me now and be saved, all over the world, I am the only God there is”Is.45:22. In times of worries, we should turn to God our Father because He cares for us. “…I have cared for you from the time you were born. I am your God, and will take care of you, until you are old and your hair is gray, I made you and will care for you. I will give you help and rescue you”Is.46:3-4.
We have to offer and lift up to God our worries. “Leave all your worries with Him, because He cares for you”1Pt.5:7,”
WORRY, NO MORE!!! The Lord says “I am the one who strengthens you…”Is.51:12. “I have given you my teaching, and I protect you with my hand”Is.51:16
WORRY NO MORE!!! For The Lord God is our Provider. ”Abraham named that place, the LORD PROVIDES and even today people say, ”On the Lords mountain He provides”Gen.22:14.
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He left us His promise, a promise of hope, ”Teach them to OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND I WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS TO THE END OF THE AGE”Mt.28:20
WORRY NO MORE !!! HE LOVES YOU…HE LOVES US ALL…AND HE CARES FOR ALL OF US TILL THE END OF TIME…ALLELUIA! GLORY TO GOD FOREVER! SO BE IT !
